The iPad Developer UK banner
I live near a busy clearway near the city centre. I can actually see the road from my bedroom window. Theres nothing interesting in the view, really, just cars passing by, and the only thing that ever changes except weather is the large banner by the road. Its really huge. I can see the advertisements very clearly from the distance. Last month, a new banner appeared there. There was an inscription which said iPad Developer UK on it and a photo of a man using an iPad. I thought the banner was quite modern, professional and original. However, just a couple of days later, some teenagers started tampering of it. On the first night, they climbed on the banner, probably using a ladder, and painted some graffiti on it. Why did they think it would look nice there? On the second night, they climbed up the scaffolding again and painted some moustache on the mans face. It looked funny, and I think if it hadnt been for the previously painted graffiti, the moustache would have made the banner even more eye-catching. But on the third night, somebody has destroyed the iPad Developer UK banner completely. It was literally torn into two parts, and one of the parts fell off and dropped to the ground. People can come up with strange ideas sometimes. Perhaps they are just bored and have nothing more constructive to do.
